The festival features a range of traditional rituals and activities, including ceremonies to honour the agricultural deity and the village tutelary god, thanksgiving rites to heaven and earth, buffalo- and tractor-led ploughing demonstrations, rice transplanting performances and contests, traditional games such as blindfolded duck catching, and Bai Choi singing competitions.

At the festival, visitors soaked up the atmosphere of a rural market, sampled traditional farm-style cuisine, visited OCOP (One Commune One Product) product displays of Hoi An Dong Ward, and took part in hands-on farming experiences such as ploughing fields, transplanting rice, bailing water, and catching fish.

According to Tran Tan Dung, Chairman of the Hoi An Dong Ward People’s Committee, the event created a joyful atmosphere and encouraged farmers to confidently enter the 2025 - 2026 winter-spring crop season.
