The group consisted of 29 people from the Philippines, arranged by the Visit Indochina Company.
Starting from the An Hoi Sculpture Garden, the visitors were escorted into the ancient town by a lion dance troupe, accompanied by resounding drumbeats and festive rhythms performed by the center’s art team.
The Philippines is considered a highly promising market, with strong interest in cultural and heritage tourism, particularly experiences closely connected to the rhythms of ancient town life and local culture.
In 2025, the number of Philippine visitors recorded robust growth within the overall structure of Southeast Asian tourist arrivals to Hoi An and Da Nang.
