Da Nang launches Trade Promotion Fair and OCOP Product Exhibition 2025
DNO - The Da Nang OCOP Product Exhibition and Cooperative Trade Promotion Fair for Supply - Demand Connectivity is taking place in Ban Thach Ward until December 30.
This year’s fair features 150 booths, showcasing over 400 OCOP products presented by 200 enterprises, cooperatives and cooperative groups.
Products on display are rich and diverse, reflecting distinctive characteristics from mountainous areas to coastal regions.
The fair is not only a shopping venue for both locals and visitors, but also an important “trading platform” enabling participating units to seek partners, strengthen supply - demand linkages, and integrate more deeply into sustainable value chains.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the fair on December 28, Mrs. Vu Thi Bich Hau, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Agriculture and Environment, emphasized that the OCOP (One Commune One Product) program has become an effective driver of rural economic development.
These are not merely commercial goods, she noted, but the crystallization of intelligence, cultural identity and the aspiration for advancement among the people of Da Nang.
To date, Da Nang has recorded 552 OCOP products rated three stars or higher, including two outstanding products recognized with national five-star ratings.
The program has helped affirm the city’s right approach to rural economic development, closely linked with tourism, services and green consumption, thereby enhancing competitiveness and creating stable incomes for farmers in the new period.
