Over 2,000 cruise ship passengers arrive in Da Nang
DNO - Arranged by the Khang Huy Holiday Vietnam Co., Ltd., cruise ship Adora Mediterranea brought over 2,000 tourists from China to Da Nang’s Tien Sa Port on Saturday.
The Adora Mediterranea cruise ship is designed in a luxurious Mediterranean style. It features over 1,000 cabins, 12 decks, restaurants, bars, swimming pools, and modern entertainment facilities.
Upon arriving at the Tien Sa port, the Chinese tourists who had pre-booked tours followed their scheduled itineraries, while those opting for independent exploration were transferred by shuttle buses to their designated drop-off point at the APEC Sculpture Park.
Here, tourists visited famous tourist attractions citywide such as the Cham Sculpture Museum, the Han Market, the Cathedral, the My Khe Beach, the Linh Ung Pagoda, the Marble Mountains and the Hoi An Ancient Town.
To ensure the safety of tourists, the municipal Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has issued a notice requesting relevant authorities to support and coordinate efforts in maintaining security and order.
The department has also deployed security personnel to safeguard the tourism environment, prevent tourist harassment, and ensure safety, with a particular focus on areas where shuttle buses pick up and drop off passengers.
According to the report from the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the number of cruise ship tourists is expected to reach over 43,000 by the end of 2025, an increase of 21.1% compared to the same period last year, with 36 cruise ship arrivals.
The ship left Da Nang on the evening of the same day to continue its journey.
