City leader extends New Year greetings to Russian and Japanese Consuls General in Da Nang
DNO - Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Ho Ky Minh, on Thursday, paid courtesy visits and extended New Year greetings to officials and staff of the Consulates General of Russia and Japan in the city.

At the Consulate General of Russia in Da Nang, Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh conveyed his best wishes to leaders, officials and staff there for a prosperous, healthy and successful New Year 2026.
He expressed his delight at the good friendship between Vietnam and Russia in general, as well as between Da Nang and Russian localities in particular.
He also voiced his hope that Consul General of Russia in Da Nang Mizonova Maria Georgievna will continue acting as a bridge, creating favorable conditions for Da Nang to promote investment in Russia and to connect the city-based enterprises with Russian partners in the time ahead.
For her part, Consul General Mizonova Maria Georgievna thanked the Party Committee, authorities and people of Da Nang for their warm and sincere sentiments toward Russia and the Consulate General in Da Nang.
She expressed confidence that cooperation between Da Nang and Russia will continue to develop well, making a positive contribution to the Vietnam - Russia comprehensive strategic partnership.
In 2026, the Consulate General of Russia in Da Nang will organize a range of cultural and artistic exchange activities, aimed at strengthening mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries, she added.

During his visit to the Japanese Consulate General in Da Nang, Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh extended New Year greetings and thanked the consulate’s staff for their active support in helping Da Nang expand cooperation with Japanese localities and partners.
The city leader expressed his hope that the Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang will encourage more Japanese financial and banking institutions to participate in Vietnam’s International Financial Center in Da Nang.
In reply, Consul General of Japan in Da Nang Mori Takero took the opportunity to thank the city leaders for their special care. He also affirmed that he will continue to contribute to enhancing the Vietnam - Japan friendship, as well as cooperation between Da Nang and Japanese localities.
