To date, the city has been recognized and highly appreciated by domestic and international organizations with such notable awards as the ASOCIO Smart City Award 2019 from the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization, and the Seoul Smart City Prize 2023 in the category of Human Centricity jointly presented by the World Smart Sustainable Cities Organization (WeGO) and the Seoul Metropolitan Government of South Korea.
Also, it is the only city in Vietnam to have won the "Smart City Award” for 6 consecutive years.
