Two new chapters of Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association launched
DNO - The Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Da Nang, in coordination with the Consulate General of Russia in the city, organized the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Exchange 2025 and officially launched two new chapters on Saturday.
The event was part of a series of activities celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Russia (January 30, 1950 - 2025).
Attending the event were Major General Nguyen Quoc Huong, Deputy Commander of Military Region 5, and Ms. Mizonova Maria Georgievna, Consul General of Russia in Da Nang.
During the event, delegates reviewed the longstanding and fine traditions of friendship between the two countries, as well as the close relationships between localities of the two countries.
This contributed to further strengthening the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia in general, and people-to-people diplomacy between Da Nang and Russian localities in particular.
On the occasion, the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Da Nang officially announced the establishment of two new chapters of the Vietnam -Russia Friendship Association in Kursk Province and Thang Binh Commune, bringing the total number of chapters under the association to ten.
