Da Nang signs strategic aviation - tourism cooperation agreement for 2026 - 2030
DNO - The Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism hosted the "Aviation Accompanies Da Nang’s Tourism 2025" program on Wednesday.

The event aimed to express appreciation to aviation partners and sign strategic cooperation agreements, creating new momentum for the city's tourism development.
Speaking at the program, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi expressed her appreciation to the airport management agencies, aviation security forces, border police, customs, and quarantine authorities, as well as domestic and international airlines. She remarked these were important " first touchpoints”, leaving a positive impression on visitors upon arrival in Da Nang.
Mrs. Thi voiced her hope that in the future, partners will continue to strengthen coordination to open new air routes, increase flight frequencies, and improve service quality.
She informed that the city is proposing the implementation of an investment and development project for the Chu Lai Airport and its airport-based economic and urban ecosystem under the PPP (Public-Private Partnership) model, with a total estimated capital of approximately US$10 billion. The project is expected to serve as a catalyst for regional connectivity.
According to reports, Da Nang currently operates 26 air routes, including eight domestic and 18 international routes, with a frequency of approximately 132 flights per day.

Efforts in promotion, destination marketing and enhancing airport experiences have been carried out comprehensively, positioning Da Nang as a safe and friendly destination.
Within the framework of the program, the Da Nang Department of Tourism, Da Nang International Airport, Chu Lai Airport, and Da Nang International Terminal Investment & Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the 2026 - 2030 period.
The agreement aims to foster the opening of new air routes, share market data, and coordinate destination promotion to reinforce Da Nang on the global tourism map in a professional and sustainable manner.
