During the Westerdam’s stay, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism asked local authorities and relevant agencies to ensure security and smooth visitor services.

Functional forces in Hai Chau, Ngu Hanh Son, Son Tra, and Hoi An wards were deployed to maintain a safe, welcoming tourism environment and prevent tourist solicitation, especially in shuttle bus pick-up areas.

The Da Nang Tourism Promotion Centre also set up an information desk at APEC Park to provide free guidance and assistance to visitors.

The Westerdam departed Da Nang at 6 p.m. the same day to continue its journey.
