Da Nang wins Vietnam Smart City Award for 6th consecutive year
DNO - Da Nang has successfully secured its top national title "Vietnam's Smart City" in 2025.

The Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) has recently announced the result after a final judging round earlier this month, where experts assessed presentations and an independent review of participating provinces and cities.
Accordingly, Da Nang received top marks in three categories: Smart Governance, Innovative Start-up Attractiveness, and Green Environment - Sustainable Development.
Given these outstanding achievements, the plenary council unanimously decided to present the 2025 Vietnam Smart City Award to Da Nang. This is the most prestigious and only award conferred to a province/city participating this year.
VINASA plans to hold the Vietnam Smart City Awards 2025 recognition and award ceremony on December 23, 2025, at the Melia Hotel, 44B Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Cua Nam Ward, Ha Noi.
This marks the sixth consecutive year that Da Nang has received the notable award.
Alongside the award ceremony on December 23, VINASA, in partnership with the Ha Noi Department of Science and Technology, will organize the Vietnam - Asia Smart City Conference 2025.
The conference is expected to attract more than 1,500 delegates, including senior government leaders, ministry and sector representatives, local authorities, and international experts in smart urban development.
It will feature a plenary session; five thematic workshops; an exhibition of smart city products and solutions; and activities connecting supply and demand, and promoting trade and cooperation among businesses.
