Present at the event were Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Russian Consul General Maria Mizonova, and representatives of local departments and foreign missions.
Vice Chairwoman Anh Thi noted that the Soviet Union was among the first countries to recognise and establish diplomatic relations with Vietnam (30 January, 1950).

This historic event accelerated international recognition of Vietnam and created legal legitimacy for the nation’s struggle for independence and freedom.
Over the past 75 years, Vietnam’s development journey has always carried the profound support and solidarity of the former Soviet Union and today’s Russian Federation.
In Da Nang, Vietnam - Russia friendship and cooperation continue to develop, with strengthened ties between the city and Russian localities contributing to the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

The art exchange programme is part of activities marking this important milestone, expressing gratitude, celebrating solidarity, and reaffirming the lasting strength of the bilateral relationship.
The programme featured 19 performances by Russia’s Matryona Art troupe and artists from Trung Vuong Theatre, highlighting the unique cultural identities of both nations.

The event offered audiences, especially the Russian community and Vietnamese alumni with ties to Russia, a meaningful space for cultural exchange and deeper mutual understanding.
