Leading enterprises are investing in modern infrastructure and advanced technologies to enhance efficiency and service quality.
THILOGI, under Thaco Group, is expanding a multimodal transport network connecting seaports, the Chu Lai Airport, rail routes and cross-border transport corridors to Laos and Cambodia.
The Chu Lai International Port is integrating operations through an ERP system and deploying digital platforms such as ePort, smart gate, PL-COS, PL-TOS, WMS and the national e-customs system, enabling customers to process import–export procedures online around the clock.
The Da Nang Port is also advancing full-scale digitization. Its ePort and AutoGate systems operate with 99 - 100% stability, reducing costs and improving reliability. The port has equipped all tractors with eTractor devices and introduced an AI-based eCPS system.

Viettel Post recently began construction of the Da Nang Logistics Centre in the Lien Chieu Industrial Park. Covering 8.6 hectares with an investment of over VND 722 billion, the project underscores the city’s ambition to build a modern, data-driven logistics ecosystem.
Several smart logistics centers and modern warehouses have already been developed in Da Nang, including the VND316 billion U&I Logistics Center and the VND100 billion Con Ong Distribution Centre in the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, as well as the Transimex Da Nang facility in the Hoa Cam Industrial Park.
Aligned with the city’s vision for intelligent logistics, Dana Logistics is accelerating Phase 1 of its Da Nang Logistics Centre in the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park.
The VND255 billion project is designed as a modern sorting and distribution hub for food and consumer goods, integrating advanced management technologies and multimodal connectivity.
Strategically positioned as a “dual gateway” to the East- West Economic Corridor and home to both Da Nang International Airport and Chu Lai Airport, the city is well-placed to capture regional trade flows.
Its proximity to major Asia - Europe and Asia - America shipping routes enables Lien Chieu Port to receive some of the world’s largest container vessels.

The Lien Chieu Port is planned to handle 100,000-DWT vessels, but experts say it can be upgraded to accommodate ships of 200,000 to 250,000 tonnes, the size of the world’s largest container vessels, thanks to Da Nang Bay’s natural depth (–14 meters), its breakwater system, and short, sheltered access channel.
It is suggested that Da Nang could study successful combined maritime - aviation logistics models such as Jebel Ali Port and Dubai International Airport, or South Korea’s Busan Port, the world’s seventh largest, which thrives through its integration with the Busan Free Economic Zone.
According to Thomas Sim, the President of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA), advanced economies like Singapore, Dubai and Shanghai lead the development of smart seaports and airports powered by AI, blockchain, autonomous robots, AI-supported tracking systems and driverless AGVs.

A seamless smart-logistics ecosystem, experts say, depends on an effective single-window mechanism linking stakeholders across the supply chain, from customs and airlines to banks and logistics firms. This framework ensures standardized data, reduces duplication and cuts processing time.
Da Nang's green and digital logistics agenda is embedded in two strategic infrastructures: the Da Nang Free Trade Zone and Lien Chieu Port, both designed for smart, automated and transparent operations.
These assets position Da Nang as a logistics growth pole for central Vietnam and a key gateway connecting the North - South corridor and the East - West Economic Corridor.
