DNO - Da Nang City considers logistics as a key service sector with strong spillover effects, driving growth in industry, commerce, tourism, and investment. This viewpoint was stated by Le Ngoc Quang, Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee, at the Vietnam Logistics Forum 2025 on November 29.

Leveraging strategic advantages to boost investment and regional connectivity

According to Secretary Le Ngoc Quang, hosting the forum in Da Nang is timely as the city enters a new development phase and works to realise national policies positioning it as a logistics and high-tech hub, as well as a centre of international finance and trade.

With major infrastructure, from seaports, airports, railways, and motorways to industrial parks, the hi-tech park, IT zones, and a planned free trade zone, Da Nang serves as the economic gateway to the East-West Economic Corridor.

These advantages are boosting investment and trade while supporting key national directives, including the establishment of an International Financial Centre and the piloting of a Free Trade Zone.

Da Nang identifies logistics as a key service sector driving industrial, commercial, tourism, and investment growth. The city is upgrading major infrastructure, including seaports, airports, motorways, railways, and logistics centres, with Lien Chieu port set to become an international gateway.

At the same time, Da Nang is investing in human resources, digital transformation, administrative reform, and a smart logistics ecosystem to strengthen its multimodal logistics network.
