Da Nang Newspaper and Radio - Television expands ties with Yuhan University
DNO- On the afternoon of 27 November, Doan Xuan Hieu, Member of the City Party Committee and Editor-in-Chief of Da Nang Newspaper and Radio - Television, met with a delegation from Yuhan University (South Korea) and the Korea Character Business Association (KOCA) during their visit to the city.

Also present at the meeting were leaders and representatives of Da Nang Newspaper and Radio - Television specialised departments.
During the meeting, Kang Hyun Jong, Director of the Centre for AI and Head of the Department of Webtoon and Animation at Yuhan University, shared experience in applying AI to animation and digital cultural products to help promote local culture and tourism.
She proposed collaboration on children’s animated films and traditional cultural publications using AI, expressing interest in soon establishing concrete cooperation programmes with Da Nang Newspaper and Radio - Television to develop creative media products.
Journalist Doan Xuan Hieu warmly welcomed the Yuhan University and KOCA delegations, noting the strong relevance of their webtoon and animation programmes to digital media trends.
He said the visit offered Da Nang Newspaper and Radio - Television a chance to expand cooperation and gain experience in modern digital content production, especially animation aimed at young audiences.

Journalist Doan Xuan Hieu expressed interest in learning more about AI-assisted animation and media workflows and requested support in organising AI training for reporters and editors. He also proposed collaboration on Korean-language news to better serve the Korean community in Da Nang.
Da Nang Newspaper and Radio - Television affirmed its readiness to cooperate with Yuhan University and KOCA in media and multi-platform content production. This partnership is expected to open new development opportunities for the city’s media and cultural industries, enhancing content quality and better meeting the public’s diverse information needs.
