Work starts on 2nd phase of Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa project in Da Nang
DNO - The construction of the 2nd phase of the Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa officially began on Tuesday, marking an important milestone in completing a Japanese-style ecosystem combining hospitality, entertainment, and cuisine in the central coastal city.

In her speech delivered at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi noted that the Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resort & Spa project, located in the Xuan Thieu Tourist Area, Hai Van Ward, had a total investment of about VND 3.9 trillion. It is currently the largest Japanese-funded tourism and services project in the city.
The first phase of the project has been put into operation since February 2022, creating job opportunities for nearly 600 workers and attracting hundreds of thousands of domestic and foreign tourists. It has greatly contributed to promoting the socio-economic development of Hai Van Ward in particular and Da Nang in general.

According to the Vice Chairwoman Thi, the groundbreaking of the second phase not only enhanced the project's service capacity, but also affirmed he investor’s strategic vision, trust and long-term commitment to Da Nang’s development trajectory.
She believed that with the investor’s capacity, experience and determination, the second stage of the project will be implemented on scheduled, ensuring quality and strict compliance with regulations on safety, environment, and fire prevention and fighting.

Mrs. Thi added that Da Nang will continue to accompany and create the most favorable conditions for the investor to ensure the project’s successful implementation and effective operation.
The phase 2 of the Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa project is planned as a multi-functional complex, featuring a 15-storey, 63-meter hotel building and a cluster of 14 villas with a dedicated reception area.
Once operational, the new hotel building will blend with the existing 22-storey one, together creating a signature "crescent moon" image, an iconic symbol of the Mikazuki Group, reaching out to embrace the poetic Da Nang Bay.
