Da Nang to host Vietnam International Pepper and Spices Outlook 2026
DNO - Da Nang will host the Vietnam International Pepper and Spices Outlook (VIPO) 2026, scheduled for March 3 - 4, 2026.

The city confirmed its commitment to the event during a working session on November 17 chaired by Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee Tran Nam Hung and representatives of the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA).
The event will take ‘Black Pepper in the Era of Rebalancing Global Trade’ as its theme at KOI Resort & Residence, 11 Truong Sa, Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang, as recently announced by VPSA.
This is the first time the conference will take place in Da Nang. VIPO 2026 is expected to attract around 300 delegates from more than 30 countries, including the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, India, China, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Participants will include international organisations, industry associations, leading experts and major import - export enterprises in the global spice sector.
Within the conference’s framework, there will be an exhibition space for Da Nang to showcase local products and facilitate connections between the city’s businesses and domestic and foreign partners.
The event is viewed as an opportunity for Da Nang to strengthen its presence in the international spice supply chain and promote its specialty products.
Vice Chairman Tran Nam Hung affirmed that the city will work closely with the association to ensure the successful organization of VIPO 2026.
He also urged the association to support the promotion of Da Nang’s products and help identify stable market channels for local producers.
In preparation for the conference, the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology will expedite the completion of the geographical indication for Tien Phuoc pepper so it can be officially announced during VIPO 2026.
