Da Nang eyes investment cooperation with Dutch businesses
DNO - During his reception on Friday for Ms. Raissa Anais Marteaux, Consul General of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Tran Nam Hung provided an overview of the city’s potential and advantages, especially the synchronous transport infrastructure system with two international airports and a large seaport.

He emphasized that Da Nang planned to make the Chu Lai Airport into an international airport, as well as develop urban railways and key traffic routes to create a foundation for the growth of the local logistics sector.
Vice Chairman Hung expressed his hope that the Dutch Consul General will act as a bridge to appeal for more potential businesses from her country to learn about investment opportunities in the Chu Lai Airport, the Free Trade Zone and the International Financial Center in Da Nang.
He also suggested both sides exchange and conduct more in-depth research to promote substantive and effective cooperation in the coming time.
For her part, Ms. Raissa Anais Marteaux highly appreciated Da Nang's potential, advantages and dynamic growth. She said that the year 2025 marked the 52nd anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Netherlands diplomatic ties, an important milestone for the two countries to further promote cooperation activities.
She expressed her delight at the increasing number of Dutch enterprises investing in Da Nang, believing that these enterprises will continue to make positive contributions to the development of the city’s priority areas.
The Dutch diplomat hoped that the cooperation relationships between the Vietnam and the Netherlands in general and between Da Nang and Dutch partners will be strengthened in the years ahead.
