Da Nang seeks to strengthen investment ties with Polish businesses

As reported by Vice Chairwoman Thi at the reception, following administrative consolidation, Da Nang now possesses ample space, development potential, and regional competitiveness.
The city’s plans for a free trade zone and an international financial center, featuring special mechanisms, are expected to generate a breakthrough not only for Central Vietnam but across the country as a whole.
Industry is identified as a key growth sector, complementing the established tourism and services industries.
In the south, the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone has established its brand as a hub for automobile production, precision engineering, and supporting industries.
In the north, the High-Tech Park focuses on electronics, software and artificial intelligence (AI) products.
Da Nang also boasts world-recognized cultural and natural heritage sites, including the Hoi An Ancient Town, the My Son Sanctuary and the Cu Lao Cham Biosphere Reserve, enhancing the city’s international profile and tourism appeal.
Notably, Hoi An and My Son reflect the legacy of Polish architect Kazimierz Kwiatkowski, who spent nearly two decades in Vietnam through bilateral cultural cooperation programs.
Vice Chairwoman Thi expressed hope that the Polish Embassy and Ms. Skoczek would facilitate business delegations to explore investment opportunities in manufacturing, technology and other sectors.
She also called for support in connecting enterprises, exchanging trade information and expanding markets.
Ms. Skoczek expressed her pleasure at visiting and working in Da Nang, emphasizing her interest in understanding the city’s development needs and incentive policies in order to serve as a bridge for Polish businesses to explore investment opportunities.
Ms. Skoczek also stated that Poland is ready to support Da Nang in the restoration and preservation of its historical sites, with the hope that sites renovated under the legacy of Kazimierz Kwiatkowski will continue to showcase their cultural and historical values.
