“Colors of Highland Cultures of Da Nang” exhibition scheduled from November 21 - 28
DNO - The Da Nang Museum will host an exhibition titled “Colors of Highland Cultures of Da Nang” from November 21 - 28, aimed at introducing the public to the distinctive cultural features of ethnic groups in the city.

As part of the program "Da Nang Cultural Heritage Festival 2025", the exhibition will feature over 50 documentary photos depicting the lives of the Co Tu, Xo Dang, Gie - Trieng and Cor ethnic groups.
Each photo will represent a color bearing the mark of each ethnic group in the multi-colored picture of Vietnamese culture, as well as showcase material and spiritual life of these groups, including slash-and-burn farming methods, stilt-house architecture, brocade weaving, culinary culture, customs, beliefs and festivals.
Through their daily life, production activities, and close interaction with nature, the local people have accumulated a lot of life experiences and created their own and unique cultural identities of each ethnic group.
Many indigenous traditions have been so far preserved and promoted such as gong performance art,’ tung tung da da’ dance, ly singing and storytelling, Guol house architecture of the Co Tu ethnic people, and the ritual of erecting the Neu pole and Gu set of the Cor ethnic group. These traditions have been officially recognized in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
The traditional values of the ethnic minorities have contributed to enriching the cultural treasure of the city.
