Da Nang’s spotlights in business development and investment attraction
DNO - In the first ten months of 2025, Da Nang made remarkable strides in business development and investment attraction.

Recent statistics show that from January 1 to October 22, Da Nang granted business registration certificates to 5,009 enterprises and 520 branches and representative offices, with a total registered charter capital of VND 28,725 billion. The figures represented a rise of 26.4% in the number of new enterprises and 75.3% in registered capital compared to the same period in 2024.
The city’s economic structure continued shifting in the right direction, with the service sector playing a leading role, and industry and construction remaining key growth pillars. Meanwhile, agriculture is being restructured towards higher quality and added value. The positive information reflects the dynamism and adaptation of the local business community to a green, creative, and sustainable economy.
As of October 20, 2025, the city attracted VND 208,507 billion in domestic investment capital, nearly 7 times higher than the same period in 2024.
Specifically, there were 85 newly licensed projects with a combined registered capital of VND 114,356 billion, up 93.2% in project numbers and 347.5% in capital in comparison with the same period in 2024.
In addition, 32 projects had their investment capital adjusted with a total increased capital of VND 95,098 billion. Although the number of adjusted projects decreased by six, the total adjusted capital increased thirteen fold year-on-year.
In term of foreign investment (FDI), in October 2025 alone, the city attracted US$ 72.35 million USD, 8 times higher than the same period in 2024. Accumulated from the beginning of the year to October 20, 2025, the city attracted US$ 500.60 million, 2.5 times higher than the same period last year.
All positive results were mainly attributed to Da Nang’s significantly improved investment environment. In recent times, the city has implemented a series of specific solutions, including shortening the time for handling business registration procedures, accelerating digital transformation in administrative services, establishing a working group to support businesses, and promptly addressing difficulties related to capital, tax, and land use.

In addition, the city has proactively sped up key projects such as the second phase of the Da Nang High-tech Park, the Lien Chieu Port, the Vietnam International Financial Center, and the Hoa Cam - Hoa Nhon industrial zones. These efforts, combined with advancements in logistics infrastructure and digital connectivity, have created more favorable conditions for businesses to access regional and global markets.
Moreover, Da Nang has actively expanded international cooperation to foster investment attraction, technology transfer and sustainable economic development.
Notably, the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Le Havre (France) marked an important milestone in bilateral cooperation between the two localities.
The city has also strengthened cooperation with South Korean partners in innovation and digital transformation. The purpose is to open new opportunities for Da Nang startups to access advanced technology, increase their competitiveness, attract investment and expand international markets.
These strategic moves demonstrate Da Nang’s proactive approach to regional and international integration, effectively utilizing international relationships to strengthen internal strength, promote innovation and affirm its position in Central Vietnam and the international arena.
