Da Nang enterprises proactively promote AI application
DNO - Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly becoming a key technological platform in the digital transformation journey of enterprises. In Da Nang, many businesses have proactively approached, tested and applied AI to their production and operation activities, bringing positive results.
According to Mr. Phan Thanh Tuan (Anthony Tuan Phan), CEO of Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Joint Stock Company (AIAIVN) - one of the pioneers in the AI development in Da Nang, traditional resources and investment capital were the main factors in the past. However, today knowledge and technology, especially AI, have been becoming the core driving force for growth.
AI is not only a support tool, but is becoming a new management thinking platform, helping enterprises reshape their operational models, optimize value chains, and make decisions based on practical data.
He informed that Da Nang is implementing a sandbox model to build a digital financial center, creating a flexible testing environment for startups and financial institutions to develop new business models related to blockchain, digitalization and AI technologies.
Currently, in the logistics sector, many companies citywide are deploying smart warehouse management systems (AI-WMS) and automated transport coordination platforms that allow real-time tracking of vehicles, routes and operational performance.
Mr. Bui Tran Nhan Tri, Deputy General Director of the Truong Hai International Shipping Co., Ltd. expresses his belief that AI applications help businesses reduce manual errors, optimize costs and accurately forecast transportation volumes based on historical and real-time data, enabling businesses to plan better.
Similarly, businesses operating in the construction sector are boosting the AI application in the design, construction and operation with the aim to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.
According to Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Ho Quang Buu, the city strongly encourages individuals and businesses to apply AI in economic development. However, the AI application must be done smartly, effectively and responsibly.
He emphasized that the city always welcomes start-up projects and innovative products that solve practical problems, especially solutions to support the two-tier government model and serve people in remote areas.
