Da Nang’s revenue from travel and tourism services up 20% in first 10 months of 2025

DNO - According to the Da Nang Statistics Office, the city’s tourism activities continued to flourish in October 2025 with the organization of large-scale cultural events and festivals which contributed to attracting a large number of domestic and international visitors.

Revenue from accommodation and food services in October 2025 was estimated at VND 4,061 billion, up 19.5% year-on-year. In the first 10 months of 2025, the sector earned an estimate of VND 44,503 billion in revenue, accounting for 21.2% of total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue, up 23.9% over the same period in 2024.

During the January - October period, local accommodation establishments served 15.4 million guests, a 20.3% year-on-year increase. Of which, 6.3 million were international visitors, up 25.9%, whilst the number of domestic tourists reached 9.1 million, up 16.7%. The total number of overnight stays stood at 13 million, a 25.2% rise.

According to the Da Nang Statistics Office, travel activities and tourism support services maintained a positive recovery trend in October 2025, especially among international tour groups.

The reopening and launch of new international air routes, combined with promotional campaigns, regional linkages and domestic stimulus programs, has significantly contributed to a surge in tour bookings compared to last year.

Despite some tours being postponed due to adverse weather late in the month, the local tourism sector’s revenue still achieved a double-digit growth. Revenue from travel and tourism services in October 2025 generated VND 318 billion, down 10.4% compared to the previous month but still up 20.8% over the same period in 2024.

During the 10-month period, revenue from travel and tourism services was VND 3,921 billion, accounting for 1.9% of total retail sales and consumer service revenue, up 19.7% over the same period in 2024.
