Da Nang’s typical products showcased at Vietnam Semiconductor Industry Exhibition 2025
DNO - The Vietnam Semiconductor Industry Exhibition 2025 (SEMIExpo Vietnam 2025) opened in Ha Noi on Friday, marking the largest international event in the country’s semiconductor sector.
Hosted by the National Innovation Center (NIC) under the Ministry of Finance in collaboration with SEMI, the global leading microelectronics industry association, SEMIExpo Vietnam 2025 attracted over 5,000 delegates and more than 200 booths from the world's leading technology partners.
The event aimed to celebrate the aspirations of Vietnam’s domestic semiconductor industry, and at the same time, reaffirm the country’s increasingly important role in the global semiconductor supply chain with a vision to become a key link in this industry by 2050.
With the domestic semiconductor industry's revenue forecast to grow by an average of 11.6% per year until 2027, Vietnam is rapidly shifting from an outsourcing base to mastering advanced technologies in chip design, assembly, testing, and packaging, and moving toward the launch of its first semiconductor manufacturing plant.
The highlight of SEMIExpo Vietnam 2025 was the Exhibition & NextGen Hub on innovation and career opportunities.
On display at the exhibition were chip design, manufacturing, assembly, testing, packaging and equipment. Also, the event featured special introductions from startups, pioneering experts and universities with AI, automation, sustainable development and smart manufacturing solutions.
It also served as a platform connecting businesses and educational institutions to jointly orient careers for semiconductor talents.
Da Nang’s booth at the exhibition introduced an array of typical products and outstanding solutions developed by local semiconductor enterprises, including Alpha unmanned delivery robot by Alpha Asimov Robotics, drones by XBLinks, various circuit boards and microelectronic components, and high-quality human resource training programs jointly carried out by the municipal government, universities and enterprises.
Within the framework of SEMIExpo Vietnam 2025, many high-level conferences and dialogues with leaders of the Government and related ministries and branches took place. Also, there were thematic forums titled "Unlocking opportunities for domestic semiconductor equipment supply chains" and "AI: Promoting Vietnam's high-tech manufacturing ecosystem".
In addition, other programs were held such as market and technology updates, market connection sessions, human resource development, training for STEM students, and Golf Tournament@SEMIEXPO Vietnam.
