Previously, on November 6, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beaches had announced the temporary suspension of tourism activities on the My Khe Beach to ensure the safety of visitors as storm Kalmaegi made landfall.

According to the Management Board, on November 7, authorities, residents and tourists made their efforts to clean up and handle debris and waste washed ashore after the storm.

After the cleanup operations, the My Khe Beach was basically more open and cleaner. With pleasant weather conditions and clear blue skies, many tourists, especially foreigners, came to check in, swim and enjoy the fresh sea air.
