Da Nang welcomes famtrip delegation from Taiwan (China) for tourism survey

DNO - From November 2 - 7, the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with Vietjet Air and Sun Group welcomed a famtrip delegation from Taiwan (China) to survey local tourism products and services.

The famtrip delegation consisted of 21 members representing Taiwanese travel agencies. The survey trip aimed to foster exchanges, connections, and cooperation opportunities with the Taiwanese (Chinese) tourist in the coming time.

During the program, the delegation visited some of the city's popular tourist attractions, including the Sun World Ba Na Hills, the Da Nang Museum and the Marble Mountains. They also participated in activities at the Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa and the Trinh Café, as well as enjoyed the art programs "Charming Show" and "After Glow".

In addition, the group surveyed several the city’s high-end accommodation facilities, including the Wyndham Danang Golden Bay, the Mercure French Village, the Novotel Danang Premier Han River, the Shilla Monogram Danang, and the Crowne Plaza Danang.

At the same time, they enjoyed special cuisine at popular restaurants and hotels like Ngon Thi Hoa, All Seasons Buffet and DLG Hotel Danang, and explored the beauty and vibrant atmosphere of the city at night.

On Thursday evening, the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism hosted a Gala Dinner - Connecting the Taiwanese (Chinese) famtrip delegation at the Wink Hotel Danang Riverside to enhance connections and expand cooperation with the Taiwanese (Chinese) tourist market in the coming time.

In the first 10 months of 2025, the city’s accommodation facilities are estimated to have served more than 6.3 million international visitors, up 25% year-on-year. The Taiwanese (Chinese) market currently ranks second among international visitor sources to Da Nang, accounting for 7.45% of total international arrivals.

There are currently two regular flight routes connecting Da Nang with Taipei and Kaohsiung with a frequency of 29 flights per week, operated by EVA Air, Starlux Airlines, China Airlines and Tiger Taiwan. Additionally, 2 - 3 charter flights per week from Taipei and Taichung are operated by Vietjet Air and Bamboo Airways.
