The initiative waives all freight charges, fuel surcharges, and related fees, while giving priority loading for relief shipments on flights bound for Hue, Da Nang, and Chu Lai.

According to the Vietnam Airlines Group - including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines, and VASCO, the programme aims to serve as “a bridge of compassion,” helping deliver essential supplies to communities suffering from severe weather and flooding.

“The national flag carrier not only ensures safe and smooth operations amid natural disasters but also stands with affected residents, contributing to social responsibility and spreading humanitarian values,” the airline stated.

Those wishing to send relief goods can register and reserve cargo space through the airline’s Cargo Planning and Marketing Department with calls to 0395 216 659, email [email protected] .

Under the programme, relief items sent by government agencies, organizations, and enterprises across the country will be carried free of charge on Vietnam Airlines Group flights to the three central destinations.

The move highlights Vietnam Airlines’ role not only as the country’s leading air carrier but also as an active contributor in times of national hardship, reinforcing solidarity and shared responsibility within the community.
