In her remarks at the conference, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi highlighted the significance of the event in raising corporate awareness about legal compliance, and proactively minimizing negative impacts on people, the environment and society in the "global green" trend in all fields.
She also emphasized that responsible business conduct was not only an ethical responsibility but also an inevitable trend, helping to improve the competitiveness of businesses as Vietnam in general, and Da Nang in particular, is increasingly integrating deeply into the international economy.
The conference offered an important opportunity for government agencies, units, organizations, and the business community to exchange with partners and experts at home and abroad who have a lot of experience in management and responsible business practices, she added.
She remarked these discussions will inspire innovative and context-appropriate implementation in Da Nang and the region, particularly as the city implements new development models such as the Free Trade Zone and the International Financial Center.
