Da Nang leader receives Chinese railway enterprise
DNO - Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Le Quang Nam chaired a reception on Wednesday for a delegation from the China Railway Fourth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd.
At the meeting, representatives of the China Railway Fourth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd., introduced their enterprise, established in 1953, as one of the leading subsidiaries of the China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC).
The company serves as a corporate technology center and is an officially authorized national institution specializing in investment consulting and assessment for railway and urban rail projects.
Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Le Quang Nam informed that Da Nang planned to develop an urban railway system by 2030, with two key routes.
IN particular, they are MRT Line 2, an elevated metro line extending approximately 24.5 km from the Tran Thanh Tong - Ngo Quyen intersection to the Thanh Ha Pottery Village, and LRT Line 2, a light rail route about 7.1 km long, linking Da Nang International Airport with MRT Line 2 at the Ngo Quyen - Ho Xuan Huong intersection.
He added that the city will organize a specialized workshop on implementing urban railway projects to seek the most optimal development approaches. He, therefore, took the opportunity to invite the Chinese company to send experts to participate in the event.
At the same time, the city leader expressed his hope that, with its experience and capacity, the company will provide advice on solutions and core technologies, as well as consider technology transfer support in the railway industry, helping Da Nang achieve optimal results when executing its projects.
In reply, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the China Railway Fourth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd., thanked Da Nang leader for his warm and thoughtful reception.
He affirmed that the company will send qualified experts to the upcoming workshop and contribute useful recommendations to support Da Nang’s urban railway development efforts.
