Maybank Securities explores investment opportunities in Da Nang
DNO - On the morning of October 16, Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee, Ho Ky Minh, chaired a meeting with representatives of Maybank Securities Limited to discuss potential investment opportunities in the city.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh introduced Da Nang as a city covering nearly 12,000 square kilometres, with a population of over 3 million, two international airports, and three international seaports.
Da Nang is currently chosen to develop an international financial centre and a free trade zone while restructuring its economy towards a service-industry-agriculture model.
The city is prioritising the growth of key sectors such as maritime and aviation industries linked to logistics, high-tech industries supporting innovation and start-ups, information technology, electronics, and telecommunications driving the digital economy, and high-tech agriculture and fisheries.
Special Central Government policies give Da Nang strong advantages to attract investment and expand international cooperation. The city is also focusing on developing policies, infrastructure, and human resources for its International Financial Centre.
During the meeting, Maybank Securities discussed and enquired about Vietnam’s foreign capital attraction policies, trade development potential, and investment opportunities in the International Financial Centre, industrial zones, and other major economic projects in Da Nang.
