Da Nang assigned by Government to train human resources for semiconductors and AI in Central Vietnam
DNO - The University of Science and Technology - the University of Da Nang held a signing ceremony on Friday with higher education institutions and enterprises within the collaborative network of training centers for excellence and talents in artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductors industries in Central Vietnam.
Specifically, the cooperation contents include training high-quality human resources with advanced expertise and developing a team of lecturers and researchers; promoting scientific research, technology transfer and innovation; expanding international cooperation and integration; and building an innovation ecosystem, sharing data and strengthening business collaboration in training, research, and technology transfer.
This initiative aims to foster multi-dimensional cooperation, forming a dynamic and synchronous ecosystem of education, research and innovation in these fields.
It is expected to contribute to the supply of high-quality human resources, boost applied research, speed up the commercialization of scientific and technological products, and support the country’s socio-economic development and its industrialization and modernization process.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Ho Quang Buu noted that the Government and the Ministry of Education and Training's decision to assign the University of Science and Technology to preside over the training network on AI and semiconductors not only strengthens the university's reputation, but also opens up opportunities for Da Nang to affirm its pioneering role in new technology.
He also highly appreciated the university's efforts in training and international cooperation, and its great contribution to developing high-quality human resources for society.
He also affirmed the city’s commitment to accompanying and creating the most favorable conditions for the growth of the network.
