Da Nang airport celebrates Mid-Autumn Festival with cultural showcase for global travellers
DNO - The Da Nang International Airport is bringing Vietnam’s Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 to life, transforming International Terminal 2 into a vibrant cultural space filled with traditional decorations, performances, and experiences for international and domestic passengers.

From October 3 to 7, the international terminal is dressed in festive colors, with star-shaped lanterns, paper masks, toy drums, and mini lion heads recreating the nostalgic atmosphere.
Major areas including the welcome gate, check-in hall, and the Helpy mascot corner have been lavishly decorated, creating a cheerful holiday spirit across the terminal.
The centerpiece of the celebration is “Under Moonlight”, a special art exhibition at Departure Gate 7 in the international lounge. The installation immerses travellers in a miniature Vietnamese village under a full moon, complete with bamboo fences, playful children carrying lanterns, and the warm ambiance of rural life.
It offers passengers a unique chance to experience Vietnam’s cultural heritage while in transit.
Adding to the festivities, a Lion and Dragon Dance will be staged at 9:30 p.m. on October 3 in the public arrival hall. The performance will be followed by a Mid-Autumn feast and gifts for young travelers, including traditional toy drums, a cherished symbol of the festival for generations of Vietnamese children.
According to a representative of Da Nang International Airport, the programme was designed to share the beauty of one of Vietnam’s most beloved cultural celebrations with global travellers.
By combining colorful decorations with meaningful activities, the airport hopes to enrich the journey of every passenger while promoting Da Nang as a welcoming, culturally vibrant destination.
With its festive atmosphere, interactive experiences and cultural artistry, the Mid-Autumn celebration at the Da Nang International Airport highlights how a travel hub can also serve as a gateway to tradition and memory.
