By 2030, the city aims for the digital economy to account for at least 35 - 40% of its GRDP, marking an ambitious leap from the current 24%.

For investors and tech watchers, the city is signaling its intentions through infrastructure.

Key projects under development include Lien Chieu Port, a free trade zone, Viettel’s CNC Tower, and an international data center at the High-Tech Park.

These initiatives are designed to anchor Da Nang’s competitiveness in logistics, cloud services, and cross-border digital trade.

Da Nang already stands out in Vietnam with worth-praising achievements. Software exports reached US$165 million in 2024 and digital workers account for about 8% of the local workforce, well above the national average of 3%.

Such cited figures underscore the city’s potential to become a magnet for both domestic and foreign investment in technology and innovation.
