The new development aims to transform the central coastal city into a high-tech, automated, and smart manufacturing hub.
Spanning 115ha with a total investment of nearly VND 8 trillion (approximately US$ 314 million), the project is designed as a next-generation industrial complex integrating green, automated, and digitalized production.
In particular, over VND 1.43 trillion will be allocated to infrastructure development.
The expanded IP will host advanced manufacturing facilities for next-generation automotive parts and components, including electronic boards and smart electrical devices.
Additional factories will produce mechanical and electronic equipment, robotics, autonomous vehicles (AGV and AMR), 3D printing technology, next-generation CNC machinery, light civil aircraft, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
All operations will follow closed-loop processes that comply with international standards and customized client requirements.
As remarked by Deputy CEO of THACO Nguyen Hoang Tue, the project will also leverage outputs from the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, creating an integrated ecosystem that enhances Da Nang’s position as a national hub for high-tech and supporting industries under the 2021 - 2030 development plan with a vision toward 2050.
The project will attract further investment in automotive, mechanical, and smart device manufacturing. It is expected to expand production capacity, boost exports, and strengthen port and logistics services at Ky Ha - Chu Lai, reinforcing the region’s strategic industrial importance.
