The groundbreaking ceremonies coincide with the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), underscoring both political and socio-economic significance. These projects are expected to ignite fresh momentum, strengthen investor confidence, and affirm the city’s ambition of achieving double-digit growth.

Among the highlights is Da Nang Downtown, a mega-complex valued at nearly VND 79.8 trillion and covering 769,000 square meters in Hoa Cuong ward. The development is expected to attract more visitors, create thousands of jobs and boost local services.

Developed by the Asia Park Co. Ltd., the project envisions a high-tech hub for commerce, services, and entertainment, featuring office towers, shopping malls, hotels, culinary spaces, and international convention facilities.

Another flagship investment is the Ba Na - Suoi Mo Eco-tourism and Urban Complex, with capital of approximately VND 51.95 trillion. Designed to integrate luxury living, tourism, and international-standard services, it will feature duty-free trade zones, logistics facilities, and e-commerce hubs.

Alongside enhancing Da Nang’s tourism brand, the project aims to build a modern eco-urban area that harmonizes with nature, extends visitor stays, and increases tourism spending.

In the industrial sector, the Chu Lai Truong Hai Automotive Mechanical Industrial Park expansion will add 114 hectares with a total investment of VND 1.43 trillion. The site will focus on auto parts manufacturing, assembly, and export, reinforcing the city’s role in regional supply chains.

Director of the Department of Finance Tran Thi Thanh Tam said that the projects will contribute to diversifying tourism products, upgrading service infrastructure, promoting international trade and creating tens of thousands of jobs.

According to the 2025 - 2030 orientation, Da Nang aims to become a high-quality tourism, trade and service center of the Central Vietnam- Central Highlands region. Large-scale above-mentioned projects are “strategic pieces” to realize this goal.

With the government's determination, the people's consensus and the potential of businesses, a series of projects about to start construction promise to become key driving forces, helping Da Nang make a breakthrough in the new period.
