Hundreds of investors attend Da Nang Free Trade Zone investment promotion conference
DNO - More than 200 delegates representing departments, agencies, and business associations, plus domestic and foreign investors, attended an investment promotion conference for the Da Nang Free Trade Zone (FTZ) in 2025 held at the Courtyard by Marriott Danang Han River Hotel on Monday.

Themed "Shaping development space with Da Nang FTZ", the event was organized by the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Authority (DHPIZA) in collaboration with Alphanam Group.
The conference took place shortly after the Prime Minister officially approved the establishment of Da Nang FTZ under Decision No. 1142/QD-TTg.
Accordingly, the Da Nang FTZ covers a total area of 1,881 hectares across seven locations and features seven functional areas. Each functional area has its own mission and characteristics. However, all share a common goal of deep international integration; preferential policies on customs, tariffs, investment, logistics, technology, and services; and ultimately shaping a new growth hub for Central Viet Nam and the Central Highlands.

In his remarks at the opening ceremony of the conference, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Tran Chi Cuong highlighted the city's confidence in its vision of becoming a leading destination for high-quality investment flows, and a pioneer in building a smart city, developing digital economy and fostering green growth thanks to its strategic location, increasingly synchronous infrastructure, young and dynamic human resources, and an increasingly open policy environment.
Creating a development space in connection with the FTZ was not only a key task, but also a strategic step, opening up new momentum for the city's sustainable and long-term development, he noted.
Vice Chairman Cuong also emphasized the significance of the conference in exchanging information, connecting opportunities, stimulating ideas and promoting practical cooperation agreements.
He expressed his belief that many strategic projects will be launched, and many cooperation initiatives will be formed after the event. This will contribute positively to Da Nang's goal of becoming a regional maritime economic center, as well as a hub for innovation and international logistics in the near future.
"The municipal government is committed to creating the most favourable conditions for projects to be implemented quickly, effectively and sustainably" the city leader affirmed.
