50,000 free eSIMs for international visitors to Da Nang
DNO - The programme offering 50,000 free Hi Vietnam eSIMs for global visitors to Da Nang is carried out by Sun Group and MobiFone Telecommunication Corporation, aimed at attracting international tourists to the central coastal city during the end of the peak summer tourist season.
Accordingly, from August 12, each international visitor landing at Da Nang International Airport receives a free Hi Vietnam eSIM, with 8GB of high-speed 5G data for the first 24 hours of use.
To receive a free eSIM, tourists aged 18 and over only need to scan the QR code at the arrival hall of Da Nang International Airport and present their foreign passports. They also need devices with integrated eSIM capability and must download the Sun Paradise Land and Hi Vietnam to activate the Hi Vietnam eSIM.
In addition to high-speed 5G connectivity, visitors using Hi Vietnam eSIMs have the opportunity to receive discount vouchers from Sun World and many partners.
Specifically, there are vouchers for 5% off when booking Sun World Ba Na Hills cable car tickets via the Sun Paradise Land app; 10% discount when enjoying cuisine at restaurants operated by Sun World Ba Na Hills; 10% off when shopping for souvenirs, or 10% discount on XanhSM taxi fares when travelling to and from Sun World Ba Na Hills.
According to MobiFone representative, the cooperation programme not only showcases Sun Group and MobiFone’s efforts in accompanying visitors during their journey of discovery in the city but also contributes to affirming Da Nang's position as a smart, friendly and livable destination.
This is also considered as a practical step in the local tourism industry’s digital transformation strategy, targeting to promote the growth of international visitors to Vietnam.
