Da Nang Visitor Center - A trusted address for tourists
DNO - The enthusiasm and thoughtfulness of staff at the Visitor Center under the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center have brought tourists peace of mind and earned their trust when travelling in the city.
In early August, the center's staff received a report that an Indian tourist had lost his passport while travelling in Da Nang. They immediately coordinated with relevant authorities and units to verify and return the passport to the tourist.
The Indian tourist expressed his grateful for the great dedication and prompt support of the center’s staff in helping him resolve the problem quickly and continue his journey home with peace of mind.
He is among many tourists at both home and abroad who have received timely assistance from the Da Nang Visitor Center.
In the first half of the year, the Da Nang Visitor Center welcomed 35,100 visitors at its offices and information counters at Da Nang International Airport. It also received and handled 3,330 phone calls, 234 emails, and 896 messages via social networking apps.
In addition to searching for lost items, the center provides tourists with travel information, and suggests dining and entertainment options suited to their itineraries right at the airport counters.
With the goal of meeting the information needs of tourists and improving service quality, the center actively offers diverse support services.
These services include providing destination information such as tourist attractions, events, and special festivals in Da Nang and neighbouring areas; assisting means of transportation and services by offering details on travel options, accommodation bookings, and reputable restaurants and eateries; and receiving and resolving feedback related to service quality and prices, especially in situations that may affect tourists’ experience.
Furthermore, the center is piloting an AI tourism assistant at the information counters at Da Nang International Airport, aimed at facilitating visitors to receive information quickly and accurately.
Currently, the Da Nang Visitor Center operates two main offices at 18 Hung Vuong Street in Hai Chau Ward, and 49 Phan Chau Trinh Street in Hoi An Ward, along with two information counters at Da Nang International Airport.
