500 children in Da Nang experience English with AI
DNO - More than 500 pupils across Da Nang took part in the English Festival 2025 themed "Artificial intelligence (AI) Technology Accompanies Children in Conquering English" held in the city on Saturday.
The event was co-organised by the Da Nang Children's Palace and the Dream Viet Education JSC.
The festival participants were evaluated by teachers on their level of international standard English through direct interactions.
The festival’s highlight was the English experience with AI technology. Through the AI application, children received instant feedback on pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary whilst engaging in lively conversations with chatbots.
According to a report by UNESCO in 2023, more than 120 countries integrated AI into their education systems, three times higher than in 2015.
Forecast by Global Market Insights Inc. shows that the market value of AI in education will exceed US$ 20 billion by 2027.
Mr. Nguyen Nhan, Director of the Da Nang Children's Palace, emphasized that the organization of the English Festival not only created a useful playground for children during the summer but also helped them improve their English skills and approach AI in learning English.
On the occasion, the Da Nang Children's Palace and the Dream Viet Education JSC donated 20 gifts, each worth VND 500,000, to support pupils in difficult circumstances in preparing for the 2025-2026 academic year.
