Da Nang named among Asia's top 5 most revisited cities: Agoda
DNO - Da Nang has made it into the list of Asian cities with the highest number of repeat visitors for the first time, according to online travel platform Agoda.
In the “Most Revisited Destinations” ranking recently released by Agoda, Da Nang now stands among Asia's most magnetic destinations, reflecting the growing appeal of Viet Nam on the regional tourism map.
Based on booking data from the first half of 2025, Viet Nam climbed to third place among the top 5 Asian countries with the highest number of repeat visitors after Japan and Thailand, surpassing Malaysia and Indonesia.
In Viet Nam, the top five most revisited destinations in the first half of the year were Da Nang, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, and Phu Quoc.
While the three beach paradises captivate visitors with white sand, crystal-clear waters, and sun-soaked resorts, the two major cities of Ho Chi Minh and Ha Noi win hearts of visitors with their vibrant urban energy, deep cultural layers, and diverse local cuisine, offering a perfect balance of relaxation and local immersion.
Beyond Viet Nam, Agoda’s ranking has also highlighted other major Asian destinations that attract frequent returns, including Bangkok (Thailand), Tokyo (Japan), Seoul (South Korea), Bali (Indonesia), Osaka (Japan), Taipei (Taiwan, China), Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru (Malaysia), and Hong Kong (China). These cities offer a rich array of experiences from food to culture, allowing travellers to discover something new with every visit.
