‘Tiger Funding Vietnam’ empowers students with interest-free loans
DNO - ‘Tiger Funding Vietnam’ programme is creating new opportunities for students and young entrepreneurs in central Vietnam, including Da Nang.
On August 2, the programme held a recording session at the University of Science and Technology under the University of Danang, offering interest-free loans for students and investment opportunities for startups.
Launched in 2024, ‘Tiger Funding Vietnam’ is a joint initiative between its executive board and HUB Da Nang - Japan. The event attracted around 20 Japanese CEOs and investors, known as ‘Tigers’, who evaluated pitches from three students and two startup teams.
The programme offers a platform where participants present their business ideas or academic goals in hopes of securing funding. The aim is to remove financial barriers while inspiring innovation, education and entrepreneurship among Vietnamese youth.
By choosing Da Nang as a filming location, the organizers seek to expand the reach of startup funding in Da Nang and build a stronger ecosystem through collaboration with local universities and enterprises.
