Da Nang hosts two Asian Pickleball Championships
DNO - The Asia Pickleball University Championship 2025 will take place at Da Nang’s Tien Son Sports Village from July 17 - 20.
The tournament is open to students, alumni and staff of colleges and universities across Asia.
According to the approval by the Da Nang People’s Committee, the municipal Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has been working closely with the Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports, the Pickleball NVZ Company Limited, and relevant units, to ensure the success of the tournament.
Previously, from July 13 - 15, the 2025 Asian Pickleball Junior Open Championship took place in an exciting and attractive manner in Da Nang.
Organised by the Asia Federation of Pickleball, the prestigious competition gathered many excellent young players from many countries and territories across the continent.
By consecutively hosting large-scale tournaments, Da Nang has been boosting the growth of the Pickleball movement.
Despite being a new type of sports in the city, Pickleball has become an attractive sport, attracting participants of all ages and enriching the physical education and sports movements in the city.
Many Pickleball clubs, and training centers, have been established citywide in a bid to meet the needs of players.
