Google I/O Extended MienTrung 2025 attracts around 700 programmers and technology enthusiasts

The event was jointly organised by the Google Developer Group MienTrung community and the Da Nang Semiconductor and Artificial Intelligence Center for Research and Training (DSAC) under the Authority of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks.

Google I/O is an annual technology event hosted by Google in the United States. It serves as a platform for the company to make important announcements, and showcase new technologies. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for programmers to connect, learn, and share experience.

Google I/O Extended MienTrung 2025, the localized version of the programme, continued to be a bridge connecting the local technology ecosystem, and created development momentum for the programming community in Da Nang. The event also marked the 10-year journey of GDG MienTrung in the city.

This year's Google I/O Extended MienTrung continued to concentrate on artificial intelligence (AI), especially Google's AI products such as Gemini, Google AI Studio, and Vertex AI.

Accordingly, the speakers introduced how to apply AI to create useful technology products for the community, and provided hands-on programming practice with Gemini, utilizing resources made available for free by Google.

In addition to the aforementioned programmes, there were exhibition booths in the technology ecosystem in the city, creating a colorful technology festival.
