Living green in Triem Tay
(ĐNO) - As summer arrives, the “green oasis” Triem Tay (Dien Ban ward, Da Nang city) draws both local and international tourists who come to visit, stay and immerse themselves in its peaceful, lush environment.

While wandering through Triem Tay, one might stumble upon the Hoi An Eco-Hub - the first zero-waste education and demonstration center in Vietnam operated as an independent social enterprise.
Hoi An Eco-Hub was founded by two pioneering social enterprises committed to zero-waste practices and sustainable development in Hoi An: Green Youth Collective (noted for organic management and closed-loop farming systems) and Refillables Dong Day (known for reuse and refill strategies and projects).

Here, visitors can engage with community-driven zero-waste advocates and take part in cutting recycled soap bars, which are collected from Hoi An hotels and donated to the poor, students in need and hospitals.

Triem Tay has developed the eco-garden tourism area “Triem Tay countryside” offering services such as conference rooms, accommodations, a restaurant and a swimming pool.

The bamboo-built homestays are nestled among trimmed bamboo groves, with beds and rooms made entirely from eco-friendly bamboo.
