Quang Nam leaders meet with Lotte Group
(QNO) - On the occasion of a business trip to South Korea from May 14 to 17, the Quang Nam delegation, led by Deputy Chairman Tran Nam Hung, had a meeting with Lotte Group (South Korea).
After touring Lotte’s hotel and entertainment complex, the delegation discussed investment opportunities and Quang Nam’s strengths with Lotte Group.
Deputy Chairman Tran Nam Hung praised Lotte’s international experience and its leadership in developing smart urban projects, large-scale commercial complexes, modern retail, logistics, and high-end tourism. All these fields are Quang Nam's wishes to collaborate on.
Quang Nam, with its dynamic market, skilled workforce, and tourism potential, seeks cooperation with Lotte in urban infrastructure and commercial centre development in southern Quang Nam cities (Tam Ky, Chu Lai, and Thang Binh); smart retail and logistics systems; seaport and airport projects; and industrial zones.
The province invites Lotte to invest in a local herbal product research and production centre using Korean technology and to partner with local businesses to meet Korean standards.
In tourism, Quang Nam hopes for Lotte's investment in resorts, cultural heritage-based tourism, amusement parks, golf courses, and commercial-entertainment complexes.
Quang Nam also hopes Lotte will help the province with local clean agricultural products in its supply chain and support image promotion within Lotte’s ecosystem.
Leaders emphasised cooperation opportunities in IT (including AI) and CSR programmes in education, healthcare, and environmental protection.
Deputy Chairman Tran Nam Hung assured Quang Nam will provide favourable conditions for Lotte to invest and thanked Lotte for their warm reception.
