Quang Nam tourism sees surge in visitors for recent holidays
(QNO) - Quang Nam attractions saw a surge in visitors during the April 30th and May 1st holidays, fueled by enticing incentives and unique new offerings.
A large number of visitors to Dong Giang Heaven Gate ecotourism site due to hot weather. They felt excited to experience local cultural activities, including the lively tang-tung-da-da dance and traditional craftperformances.
During the April 30th and May 1st holidays, Quang Nam’s hotel occupancy surpassed 90%. According to Booking.com, Hoi An ranked among the top 10 domestic destinations searched by Vietnamese travellers for this occasion.
William, a tourist from the UK, was particularly impressed by the “Ancient Town Impressions” journey, leading visitors to Kim Bong carpentry and Tra Que vegetable villages.
Since April 2025, Quang Nam has launched a tourism promotion programme with incentives worth VND 10 billion, aiming for 8.4 million visitors.
The programme runs from April to November, with two phases: Summer Touch (April-August) and Golden Season in Quang Nam (September-November).
Quang Nam has launched the heritage road of Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang Heaven Gate to showcase its natural beauty and culture.
Reportedly, Quang Nam will invest in tourism infrastructure, including a bus route along the Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang heritage road, and collaborate with accommodation and travel businesses to organise activities for the upcoming summer holiday.
