Da Nang kicks off beach tourism season 2025
(QNO) - On the morning of April 29, the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Beaches Management Board officially launched the 2025 beach tourism season with the theme “Dance of the Blue Waves.”
After more than a decade, the beach tourism season has become a vibrant cultural, sports, and tourism event that kicks off the dynamic summer in the coastal city of Da Nang.
The 2025 edition took place from April 26 to May 1, featuring nearly 20 unique activities held along central beaches and the Son Tra peninsula.
Key activities included the Da Nang International Lifeguard Competition, the Summer Wave Swim Race, the SUP Danang Color Race, the Beach Sports Festival, and cultural and culinary spaces along the beach.
According to representatives of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Beaches Management Board, this year’s program also featured initiatives focused on protecting natural resources and the marine forest environment.
These aimed to raise public awareness and encourage both locals and tourists to take greater responsibility for environmental conservation.
