Lao traditional Lunar New Year celebration at Quang Nam University
(QNO) - On the morning of April 14, 2025, Quang Nam University celebrated the Bunpimay Festival 2568 for Lao students studying at the university.
Present at the event were representatives from various departments and organisations of Quang Nam province, the university's leadership and staff, and all the Lao students attending Quang Nam University.
During the event, Associate Professor Dr. Huynh Trong Duong, Rector of Quang Nam University, extended his best wishes to the Lao students on the occasion of their traditional New Year.
He also encouraged the students to persist in their pursuit of excellence in their studies and to attain even greater success in the future.
Quang Nam University currently has 176 Lao students enrolled, including 64 students studying Vietnamese. The university holds the Bunpimay celebration annually for Lao students.
This event provided an opportunity for Lao students to meet and interact with Vietnamese students while also celebrating and learning about the community life and customs of Laos, sharing a warm and festive atmosphere on the occasion of the traditional New Year.
At the event, Quang Nam University awarded prizes to 5 outstanding Lao students for their achievements in both academic and personal development.
