8th Vietnam International Choir Competition - Hoi An 2025
(QNO) - Interkultur (Germany) and Hoi An (Quang Nam, Vietnam) have recently agreed to jointly organise the 8th Vietnam International Choir Competition in Hoi An from April 9 to13, 2025.
The 8th Vietnam International Choir Competition is expected to have 32 choir groups from 10 countries and territories, with nearly 1,000 artists competing in 11 categories.
The competition opens on April 9 at Hoi An Theatre, broadcast live on provincial TV. From April 10 to 12, performances at Hoi An Park will feature various choir categories, including mixed, youth, sacred and religious, and folk choirs.
The event also includes the International Choir Street Performance, street art exchanges with locals and visitors, and music-culinary exchanges.
This event also highlights Hoi An's commitment to fostering creativity as part of its membership in UNESCO's Creative Cities Network.
