(QNO) - Quang Nam province has 1,177 active domestic investment projects with a total registered capital of approximately 230 trillion VND, and 205 active foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with a total registered capital exceeding 6.3 billion USD.
In 2024, Quang Nam achieved significant success in attracting investment. The province licensed 14 new FDI projects with a total registered capital of 49.457 million USD, marking a 155.13% increase compared to 2023.
Simultaneously, the domestic investment sector also saw remarkable growth, with 39 new projects approved, totaling 5,703.61 billion VND in registered capital, an increase of nearly 190% from the previous year.
Furthermore, several existing projects expanded their scale, with 7 domestic projects adjusting their capital by an additional 961 billion VND and 7 FDI projects adding 12.3 million USD to their registered capital.
Some notable FDI projects in Quang Nam include the Nam Hoi An Development Co., Ltd. (Hoiana) with a total investment of 4 billion USD; Hyosung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (South Korea) with over 400 million USD in investment; Groz Beckert Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Germany) with over 100 million USD; Panko Tam Thang Co., Ltd. (South Korea) with 70 million USD; and the Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai with 35 million USD.
In the first quarter of 2025, Quang Nam continued to maintain positive growth by licensing 10 new domestic investment projects with a total registered capital of about 623.68 billion VND, along with 4 new FDI projects with a total registered capital of 12.3 million USD.
