Speakers highlighted the increasingly pivotal role of human expertise in safeguarding digital infrastructure, while also exploring how AI is reshaping cyber-defense strategies by automating threat detection and enhancing incident-response capabilities.
A major highlight of the event was the Hackathon CyberFest 2025, which brought together more than 60 participants for an intensive, real-world cybersecurity competition.
Teams tackled a series of simulated security challenges designed to test their ability to detect, defend, and respond to attacks under pressure.
The Hackathon spanned 21 consecutive hours, offering contestants a highly demanding environment to refine their problem-solving skills, strengthen practical defense techniques, and gain hands-on experience with complex security scenarios.
The competition aimed to help cultivate the next generation of Vietnamese cybersecurity engineers by exposing them to realistic threats and modern defensive frameworks.
With its combination of high-level discussions and practical training, CyberFest 2025 underscored Vietnam’s growing focus on strengthening cybersecurity capacity amid the country’s accelerating digital transformation.
